Another version of jumari pogacele. We have to empty the fridge of "crap!", Because the Christmas fast has started !!!

  • Eggs 2 pcs.
  • Milk 500 ml.
  • Pork halves 400 gr.
  • 750 g flour.
  • Lard 200 gr.
  • Yeast 50 gr.
  • 25 g sugar.
  • Chimen 20 gr.
  • 20g salt.
  • Pepper 2 gr.

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Pogacele with jumari:

Dissolve the yeast in a little milk, sugar and flour and allow to rise. Then add the rest of the milk and flour, knead the bread becomes an elastic dough and leave to rise for an hour. The halves are passed through a meat grinder, then mixed with lard, salt and pepper. Spread a layer of the mixture of scallops over the crust spread with the rolling pin on a board, then fold it, and twist it 3-4 times. After that, spread a sheet with a thickness of approx. 1 cm. from which, with a glass or a shape, pieces are cut over which cumin is sprinkled and greased with egg.


Place in trays and bake over medium heat.
