Ingredients for Making Lazy Manti

For minced meat:

  1. Parsley 3-4 branches.
  2. Dill 3-4 branches.

  5. Garlic 4 cloves.
  6. Mayonnaise 500 ml.
  7. Ground black pepper 1 teaspoon.
  8. Sour cream 500 ml.

Cooking lazy manti:

Step 1: knead the dough.

Sift the flour with a sieve into a pan or bowl. Add water, salt to it and break 1 egg. On water with an egg, the dough turns out to be a little tough, so those who like a softer dough should replace the water with milk, only the egg should not be added then. Knead the dough with a spoon, fork or hands. By its consistency, it should turn out pretty steep, like dough on dumplings. If the dough is not cool enough, you can add a little flour to it. Now knead it thoroughly. Remember, the more thoroughly and harder you die with your hands, the better and more elastic it will turn out. In time, mixing will take you - 20 minutes. You can knead the dough in a pan / bowl, and put it on the table, sprinkling it with a little flour beforehand. Then we roll the kolobok from the dough, wrap it with plastic wrap and set aside 1 hour in the refrigeratorso that it is insisted.

Step 2: prepare the minced meat.

Very tasty stuffing is obtained if for its preparation take two kinds of meat. So we took a piece of pork and a piece of beef. You can also add a little fat to the stuffing. So, we take the meat and on a cutting board its mode into small arbitrary pieces. Onions, too, should be cleaned and cut into 4 parts. Then we pass pieces of meat together with onions through a meat grinder with a fine mesh. Ideally, of course, the meat is not passed through a meat grinder, but finely chopped. The ideal ratio of meat with onions is 1:1. Next, add some minced meat, pepper, add a little water or milk for its juiciness and mix everything well.

Step 3: form the mant.

We take our rested dough, take it out of the film and divide it into 2 parts. Roll out one half with a rolling pin into a rectangle. The layer thickness should be only 1-2 mm. On top of the entire rectangle, lay out the minced meat. He must be in 1-1.5 cm in thickness. Make sure that the edges of the dough on 2 cm left empty (no stuffing). Then we roll our rectangle covered with minced meat, roll it in the form of a roll, wrap it in plastic film and put it in the refrigerator 15-20 minutes. While the first part is languishing in anticipation - we also prepare exactly the second mant from the remaining test. When the second mantle is cooked, take the mantle, pour a little water inside and lubricate it thoroughly with sunflower oil. Then we take our roll, turn it round, and tightly fasten the ends of the resulting roll to each other so that the juice does not leak. Now we spread our roll on the grill of the mantle maker or double boiler, close the lid and cook for a couple 45 minutes over medium heat.

Step 4: prepare the seasoning and sauce.

In the meantime, while preparing lazy manti, you can cook for them to choose from: either seasoning or sauce. To cook seasoning take bell peppers, tomatoes and bitter chili peppers. Thoroughly wash everything, cut off the ass of the tomato, the stem of the pepper and remove the seeds. Then finely chop in a blender, salt a little and add grated garlic (garlic must be peeled and grated finely). Mix everything and put in a saucepan. To make the sauce we take twigs of dill, parsley, green onions and wash well under running water. Then we grind them in a blender, add peeled garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream, squeeze the juice out of the lemon with our hands and grind it thoroughly again. At the end add black pepper and grind everything again. The result is a very tasty sauce.

Step 5: serve the lazy manti.

Carefully, using a wooden spatula and spoon, we take out the finished roll on a serving dish, its mode into portioned pieces. That's all, lazy manti are ready, they can be served on the table with sauce or seasoning. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Often manti stick to the grate of a mantis or double boiler, in order to avoid this, we advise you to spread some greens (cilantro, for example) on the grate and spread the roll on top. This will make the dish even more aromatic and tastier.

- - if your double boiler consists of several tiers, you can cook two lazy mantas at the same time. This will save you a lot of time.

- - As a filling, you can also use meat with potatoes or pumpkin. If there is no meat, then you can replace it with ready-made meat.
