Cooking a chicken with rice:

To start, we cook the chicken for about an hour, it can take a little longer, of course we do not pour the broth, it will always be useful to us. Boil rice (boil 200 grams of rice in 200 ml of water) - do not forget to salt. Cook the egg.

Step 2: Cook the dough.

We do everything at the same time to reduce the cooking time, so while the chicken is preparing, we will prepare the dough. Mix the softened butter, milk, egg and sour cream. For this, a mixer is best, but if it is not there, a whisk will always come to the rescue. Gradually, soda and flour should be added to the mixture. Look at the consistency of the dough you get - flour can always vary within 50 grams. So now we knead the dough with our hands, as it is too thick, but moreover, soft and elastic. Then we put in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.

While the dough is waiting in line, we will prepare pancakes. Mix milk, egg, flour in a separate bowl and add salt and sugar (a pinch). Here it’s quite possible for us to get along with a whisk or a tablespoon. Mix well and start baking pancakes. Count on 8-9 pieces. Take a crepe maker (a frying pan is also suitable), pour vegetable oil and heat it (3 minutes). Using a turn, carefully pour the dough for pancakes, evenly distributing over the entire surface of the pan. Pancakes should not be thick, but not too thin.

Step 4: Prepare the filling.

Since our chicken is already ready and has cooled, we proceed to the preparation of the filling for the pie. We remove the skin from the chicken, and tear the meat with our hands into fibers. Chicken pieces should be small - about 2 cm in length. Mix boiled rice with chopped herbs and chopped egg. Salt to taste. Next, cut the mushrooms into small pieces and fry in vegetable oil along with finely chopped onions. Fry until tender - about 20-30 minutes.

Step 5: We collect the kurnik.

Next, the most interesting - we collect in parts our dish! To get started, we take out the dough from the refrigerator (which was prepared at the very beginning), separate about a quarter - you can slightly more, and roll out the cake. The diameter of the cake should be slightly larger than our pancakes. Put on the baking sheet on top about one third of the rice filling. We cover with the first pancake, and on top we put a third of the chicken. Cover with pancake again, then put a third of the fried mushrooms with onions. And so I repeat until our filling is over

Step 6: Bake.

From the remaining dough we separate a little on the decorations, and roll the rest into a large cake and cover the filling. In the middle, we definitely make a hole for the steam to exit. Next, decorate to your taste with the rest of the dough, then grease with yolk and put in a preheated oven. Bake the chicken pot for an hour and a half at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Step 7: Serve the chicken with rice.

Serve the chicken preferably hot. But if it cools down - it doesn’t matter - the delicious cake turns out both hot and cold! Enjoy your meal!
