Pie with sweet cheese and raisins


Cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, yogurt and raisins mix well together. Divide the composition in two.

In a tray lined with baking paper, put a third of the sheets, greased each sheet with oil, pour half of the cheese, put the second part of the sheets, the rest of the cheese and the rest of the sheets. Bake until nicely browned on top, a golden color. Remove from the oven and cover with a damp towel for a few minutes. After the top sheets have softened a bit, cut the pie into squares and leave to cool. Powder with powdered sugar and serve.

Sift the flour into a bowl and over it, add eggs, rum essence, salt, butter and yeast melted with warm sweet milk, melt in milk and sugar and knead a dough hard enough so that it can be spread later, under sheet shape. Towards the end, add the oil and continue kneading until the dough comes off the hands.

After kneading, put a towel over the dough and let it rise for about an hour.
Meanwhile, prepare the composition, mixing all the ingredients very well and, when the dough has risen, sprinkle the flour on the table and break a piece of dough that we spread in the form of a round sheet, take a spoonful of the composition and put over the dough sheet. , lightly roll the sheet in the form of a roll and bring one end inwards, rolling it lightly, we put the pie in the tray in which we put baking paper.

When we finish making the pies, we grease them with beaten egg, sprinkle poppy seeds in abundance and put them in the preheated oven, at the right heat, for an hour. When we take them out of the oven, we grease them with honey.


How to make the best cheese pie:

For the best sweet cheese pie, we need the best sheets. I always use fresh leaves of pie from BELL. In the past I only found frozen sheets and I struggled with them. Either they were almost all broken or glued together. Since Bella's fresh pie sheets have been on the market, I've only been using them. Each sheet is perfect and easy to work with. In addition to the leaves, we also need sweet and well drained sweet cheese. It is very important to use a good cheese because it will give the taste of the pie.

The sheets do not contain fat, so I used a mixture of butter and oil to grease them. You can use only oil or only butter, as you prefer. The sugar is added to taste and can be replaced with your favorite sweetener. For flavor you can add lemon, vanilla or orange. I also put raisins, but you can omit them or you can replace them with cranberries. I really like raisins, so I always add more. You must also try this wonderful sweet cheese pie or, why not, yogurt pie. Both are delicious and easy to prepare.

Ingredient:
1 pack of commercial palcinta sheets or ingredients for home preparation:
1 packet margarine,
150 ml water,
20 g yeast,
1 pinch of salt,
1 teaspoon honey,
flour,
For the filling:
700 g sweet cottage cheese,
4 eggs,
3 sachets of vanilla sugar,
250 g sugar,
100 g raisins,

Method of preparation:
For the sheets: margarine and salt are put in a large bowl. Dissolve the yeast in a glass with 150 ml of water and a teaspoon of honey, mix until dissolved. Fill the glass with warm water and pour over the margarine, sprinkle with flour, knead by hand until you get a dough of the right consistency. The dough bowl is covered with a kitchen napkin and left to rise, in a warm place, for 1-2 hours. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. In a bowl put cheese, eggs, vanilla sugar, sugar and mix until a homogeneous composition is obtained. The raised dough is divided into two halves. From the first half, on a plate sprinkled with flour, spread a sheet the size of the tray in which the pie is baked. Grease the pan with margarine and flour or place a baking sheet. Over the pie sheet in the tray, add the filling, sprinkle with raisins. Place the second spread sheet of dough over the filling. Put in the oven and leave until the pie is browned, about 40-45 minutes. Remove the tray from the oven, wrap with a clean kitchen towel and leave for 30 minutes. Then cut into the desired pieces and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
